Qualifications & Requirements
Old Town Lofts KC is Tax Credit Affordable Housing. All applicants must meet a set of qualification standards in order to apply for a unit.
Income
- Annual gross income below income restrictions
- Sources of income will be verified at time of application
- 2.5x rent
Credit
- Credit score of 600+ for approval
- Credit scores of 550-599 may be considered for approval with an additional deposit
Rental History
- At least 6 months of established rental history that can be verified (references from friends/relatives are not accepted)
- Must be in good standing with all prior rentals; good payment history, no outstanding balances, proper notice given, no major concerns (noise, damage, etc)
- If rental history has not yet been established an additional deposit may be required for approval
Student Status
- Full time students are only eligible for residency at select properties*
- Student status will be verified at time of application
Application Details
Application fee is $40 per applicant
Holding deposit 1 bedroom - $300
Holding deposit 2/3 bedroom- $350
